The Westchester Corporate Cup 5K Race Raised $16,500

We would like to thank our 2020 corporate sponsors, race participants, and donors of this year’s virtual Westchester Corporate Cup 5k Race. Thanks to you, we raised $16,500 as a donation for Hope Community Services, a Westchester social services organization based in New Rochelle, whose food pantry this year is responding to a huge upsurge in need in one of the New York communities hardest hit by the global pandemic.
We were excited to see that our virtual race/walk event this year was inclusive of runners, walkers, and donors from New York to the Philippines.
Out of the $16,500 raised and donated to HOPE, $2,000 was direct donations by runners, walkers, and supporters of the Westchester Corporate Cup 5K Race and HOPE Community Services.

The money raised will be used to fund emergency food services for Westchester’s homeless and needy. Over the last seven years, these events have raised $57,000; a credit to our corporate sponsors, all the race participants, donors, and the dedicated group of volunteers.

Annually, we continue to fund this event through a combination of corporate sponsor contributions and race registration fees. All donations are passed through directly to HOPE Community Services as we’ve been able to cover all expenses of the event via the corporate sponsor contributions.
Stay tuned for event dates in the summer of 2021, with the continual goals of boosting race participation and increasing our charitable contribution. Thank you all for the needed continuing support and sponsorship from the business and local community. Let’s do it again next year and Run For HOPE.
